About the artist:
Mariusz Orzełowski is a graduate of the Jazz and Popular Music Faculty at the Academy of Music in Katowice. He is a jazz guitarist who effortlessly finds himself in many musical genres. He performs in "Hipnoza Just Duet" as a backing guitarist, while as a solo guitarist in "Konopians". Performing in the big jazz bands ("Happy Big Band", "Energy Band", "Big Band Silesian"), he played with such artists as Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski, Mietek Szcześniak, Zbigniew Wodecki, Ryszard Rynkowski, Ewa Bem, Lora Szafran, Krystyna Prońko, Beata Przybytek, Ewa Uryga, Renata Przemyk, Mieczyslaw Korcz and Alicja Majewska, Krzysztof Kiljański, Grazyna Łobaszewska and Karolina Glazer. In 2007, Mariusz Orzełowski was awarded the individual prize at the Big Band Festival in Bydgoszcz.
