Innovations of Women Composers from Poland, Germany and Estonia in Contemporary
Electroacoustic Music.
The glass ceiling is a metaphor for familiar, established soundtracks, classical instrument
combinations in concerts. However, the project is about a new perception of music through
contrasting meditative piano music with an electroacoustic "hybrid" - the electric glass-acrylic
violin and the acoustic piano. In addition, composer Daarien Jack included an artificial intelligence
component in some of the sound effects. In the project, selected works by composers Daarien Jack
(Poland), Marii Vihmand Eskiis (Germany) and Lea Gabral (Estonia) were recorded.
The project was supported by funds awarded in the "Freedom of Research" competition within the
Research Excellence Initiative of the University of Silesia.

2. Lea Gabral - A summer day
3. Lea Gabral - Autumn song
